Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by JVW Impact (“we”, “us” or “our”). By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Our Services

JVW Impact provides professional services including:

• Career coaching and mentoring

• Leadership development and coaching

• DISC facilitation and behavioural insights

• Mediation services (civil, workplace)

• Workshops, training and consultancy

The specific services, scope, fees and timescales will be agreed with you before work begins.

2. Coaching and Development Services

Coaching and mentoring are designed to support personal and professional development. We provide guidance, challenge and practical support, but responsibility for decisions, actions and outcomes remains with the client.

Coaching does not constitute medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.

3. Mediation

Mediation is a voluntary and confidential process designed to help parties explore issues, improve communication and work towards mutually acceptable outcomes.

A mediator does not make decisions for the parties or determine who is right or wrong. Any agreement reached remains the responsibility of the parties involved.

4. Fees and Payment

Fees will be agreed before services begin. Payment terms will be confirmed in your proposal, booking confirmation or invoice.

Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable within 30 days.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide as much notice as possible.

Our cancellation terms will be confirmed at the time of booking. Where a cancellation is made at short notice, a fee may apply where this has been agreed in advance.

Nothing in these terms affects any cancellation or other rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

6. Confidentiality

We treat information shared during our work with you as confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or where there is a legitimate safeguarding or serious risk concern.

For mediation, confidentiality will also be subject to the terms agreed by all parties as part of the mediation process.

7. Intellectual Property

Any materials, resources, frameworks or content provided by JVW Impact remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Materials provided for your use may not be reproduced, distributed or commercially exploited without our prior written permission.

8. Our Responsibility

We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill. However, coaching, consultancy, leadership development and mediation cannot guarantee a particular personal, professional or organisational outcome.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

9. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Notice. Please refer to our Privacy Notice for information about how we collect and use personal data.

10. Complaints

We aim to provide a high standard of service. If you have a concern, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can seek to resolve it fairly and constructively.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The terms applicable to your services will be those agreed when you engage us.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
